Outline
While only indirectly linked to the event, for full transparency we have outlined our intended Patreon structure and benefits below.
As is well known, arranging an event such as this involves significant work to be done in the background. The league structure is designed to compensate those that work the events themselves and the stores in the form of providing a platform to move product and gain foot-traffic.
Application and Implementation
To allow the community to show how much they value the work done, we shall have a Patreon with 2 levels of subscription.
Level 1
This is the basic package for those primarily looking for meta information and details. The subscription fee will be R50 per month.
This will give the subscriber access to all attendees’ decklists after the conclusion of each event. (These will have the DCI number obscured for privacy purposes.) Additionally, this will provide access to a subscriber only discord channel where players can discuss decklists and strategy.
Level 2
This is the premium package for those looking to show above and beyond appreciation and support to the organisers. The subscription fee will be R150 per month.
This will give the subscriber access to all of the benefits of level 1 and upon each multiple of 4 consecutive months of renewal, they will receive a playmat with a random MTG artwork on it. These are intended to be sourced internationally through CFB connections. Due to this, subscribers will be informed as they arrive in the country via “playermail” and “judgemail”.
